Position Summary
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is offering a Fall Internship to a qualified candidate who will support the Procurement team. This paid internship is a part time, temporary employment opportunity averaging 20 to 30 hours per week for an undergraduate or postgraduate student. All applicants must be eligible to work in the US and located in the US. Pay Range and Employment Status:
Interns shall be classified as temporary employees who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the workforce, or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initially stated period does not in any way imply a change in employment status. Temporary workers are not eligible for PCORI benefits.
Current master's level and above students will be paid $20.00 per hour. Bachelor's level students will be paid: $17.50 per hour.
The Procurement team is seeking an intern who will have the opportunity to:
• Participate in a critical data management project. The primary focus of this project is to collect, clean, validate, and record data related to our Procurement processes. This data will be utilized in organizational-wide dashboards and metric reports accessed by our executive leadership team. By ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our procurement data, the intern will play a vital role in enhancing data transparency and accessibility across our organization.
• Build skills in:
o Data management process, tools, and procedures.
o Data cleaning and recording procurement data

Required Skills
The Procurement team is seeking an intern that will meet the following requirements:
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in data management and visualization tools such as Excel
- Familiarity with data cleaning and validation techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Required Experience
Ideal candidates will be pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate education with a strong interest in Data Science Information Technology, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Communications.

Applicants who are chosen will be phone screened by PCORI People Strategy and Services. Virtual interviews with relevant intern supervisors will take place from August 12th to August 23rd.
