We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Sr. Product Manager with a proven track record to lead the strategic direction of Forcepoint's DSPM solution set leveraging AI/ML to classify sensitive data, identify risks and remediations to that data. In this role, you will own the strategic direction and feature requirements for the DSPM offerings- driving cybersecurity innovation and competitive differentiation across the solution set.

The Sr. Product Manager will interface with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, G&A and Partners to best understand customer needs and feasible approaches to meet those needs. This position is instrumental in defining the strategic technological direction for how Forcepoint links product value to customer outcomes. The Sr. Product Manager will also create a high-level vision, product requirements, roadmap, perform market research, assist in go-to-market strategy, and work with technology and business partners for this product.

The Role

  • Define and manage the definition of the DSPM product vision and strategy
  • Convert the vision to a product roadmap that encompasses the whole product and services portfolio associated with your solutions
  • Identify new products or enhancements to existing products by understanding and analyzing user needs, Forcepoint's current product solutions and customer business requirements
  • Manage and measure the success of the product with detailed analysis on cost, pricing, and margin across our cloud offerings
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across the Product function to determine integration opportunities for this solution
  • Identify market opportunities, perform competitive analysis, and engage with industry analysts
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders to drive continuous improvement of Agile development
  • Write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules
  • Work closely with partner teams to reach new markets through channel partners or accelerate the roadmap with technology partners
  • Create and lead others for mockups, wireframes or POCs
  • Gather and incorporate product feedback into subsequent product releases
  • Direct formal product documentation such as feature sheets and user guides

We are looking for:

  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in product management in operationally sound enterprise organizations in the cybersecurity industry
  • A solid mix of technical, product and business intelligence
  • Experience defining the market opportunity and buyer, clearly defining customer requirements with market differentiation, building cloud solutions, and effectively managing P&L
  • Demonstrated capacity for understanding and developing both short-term and long-term product strategy
  • Demonstrated success in driving results in collaborative, cross-functional environments with little instruction or oversight
  • Demonstrated success in bringing new offers to market
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation skills with a strong ability to present to senior-level executives
  • Strong data analysis skills including financial modeling and pricing experience
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Data Security platform solutions as a product leader
  • Solid understanding of modern DevOps, machine learning and analytic techniques
  • UI/UX design experience
  • Bachelors in CS, CIS, Cyber Security or related discipline.
  • MBA is a plus.
