The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity as a Senior Tax Analyst.
This role is responsible for the management of all tax, regulatory and related compliance and reporting tax activities for Mexico entities and Corporate tasks related to. This position will conduct the day-to-day tax-accounting operations for these areas as well as direct the longer-term projects associated with annual tax returns and tax code and regulation modifications.

it must also comply with the country's regulation and corporate policies and controls that ensure compliance with any current tax requirements, and is responsible for tasks related to Internal and External Audits.
What will you work on?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review the information provided by the accounting department to ensure compliance with provisional payment declarations.
- Manage accounting files with the corresponding area.
- Determine provisional payments.
- Calculate returns and compensations. Make the request and answer the applicable requirements.
- Clean up VAT accounts monthly
- Register and enter policies, tax payments and account cleansing.
- Keep track of income, collection and review the associated Payment Complements Ensure that tax laws are correctly applied, regarding the issuance and control of CFDI's
- Maintain an accounting record of taxes withheld from suppliers.
- Integrate any type of accounting information requested by the Tax Administration System (SAT).
- Detect weak points in the team and training needs of staff from other areas
- Propose improvements in the work system.
- Attend work meetings and present the activities carried out during a given period.
- Prepare reports on their activities and the performance of their team.
- Calculate the annual adjustment for inflation.
- Calculate tax depreciation
- Analysis of reserves (applications, cancellations and increases to reserves. Tax effects of the same)
- Perform calculations for annual declarations.
- Effective management of applicable information declarations, (DISIF, DIOT, Partners and shareholders, etc.)
What team will I be a part of?
Under the direction of the Tax Manager this role is conduct the day-to-day tax-accounting operations for the Mexico City entities.
What you bring to RCG?
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in tax related positions
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient on SAT digital platforms
- Mathematical and quantitative skills to determine payments, calculate refunds, and handle any payroll-related matters.
- Highly organized person
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Team player
