Make Your Mark:
This is a key regional role, responsible for building relationships and partnering with the business leaders across Europe. As one of two Senior HRBPs supporting our 13 European countries, this individual requires deep technical expertise coupled with high EQ. This a scopey role for a seasoned HR professional who is comfortable providing data-based insights and creating talent strategies and programs that enable and accelerate the long-term growth of our BlackLiners.
Senior People Partners engage with the business in a hands-on consultative manner, identifying talent needs and critical skills gaps, forecasting and developing plans for OD and internal mobility, and leading strategic, project-based people and business initiatives.
You'll Get To:
- Be an active partner in a highly collaborative international Human Resources team, acting as a strong role model, and providing coaching and mentorship for professional growth to the business and early-career People professionals.
- Provide best-in-class HR support for our Go To Market (GTM) function across Europe
- Leverage human resources subject matter expertise in the formulation, recommendation and deployment of complex HR programs and policies, combining strategic sense with tactical execution.
- Provide coaching and guidance to regional business leaders at all levels
- Work with business leaders and finance partners on workforce and succession planning
- Establish key talent metrics and KPIs to measure performance within the business and proactively highlight areas of risk and opportunity
- Use a data-driven approach to analyze trends, inform decisions, and implement actions to increase productivity and retention
- Adapt organization-wide DEI programs across EMEA region
- Support all cyclical programs including performance reviews, compensation (merit) review processes and global engagement surveys
- Serve as a thought leader and work collaboratively with our Talent Development team to shape development programs for high potential employees and key talent
- Partner with Total Rewards team to align compensation with competitive market expectations
- Design and facilitate change efforts & communication strategies related to HR and other organization wide programs.
- Support ER investigations, partnering with internal and external legal counsel where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with our People shared services and COEs to ensure best-practice and a constant focus on process improvement
- Exercise discretion and judgment to make critical decisions in administering internal policies and controls in compliance with applicable legislation (SOX, Information Security, ESG, internal audits)
- Serve as the company HR representative for our French Works Council
What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field:
Accomplished Human Resources leader and manager with 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources business partner role, preferably in a global and/or Tech business.
Education: Requires a university degree or its equivalent in experience in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fluent French due to requirement to work with French Works Council
- Fluent English, if not Mother Tongue
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational savvy, relates well to others, builds relationships throughout the organization, and is a quick study to organisation dynamics
- An objective and trusted advisor, able to effectively collaborate with and engage stakeholders in difficult discussion, to challenge assumptions, advise on the talent implications of decisions and present alternate explanations and solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of organizational design, staffing, learning & development practices and employment law matters (ethics, conduct, employee wellness, staffing, wage and hour, time tracking, Works Councils & CBAs, employment obligations, leaves of absence, etc.).
- Able to intake information and insights, frame the need and deliver consultative or hands-on problem-solving support
- Big picture thinker, able to translate strategies into action and align HR goals with organisational goals
- Agility to work swiftly within tight time constraints and adapt to changing priorities while remaining calm under pressure
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals to organize, prioritize and time-manage work with keen attention to detail and accuracy in presentation of information.
- Effectively copes with change, ambiguity and risk; can adapt to the changing demands of a fast paced, high growth environment.
- Possesses a propensity and ability to turn obstacles into challenges, motivating others to keep morale and productivity high
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS (SuccessFactors is a plus) and ATS platforms (iCIMS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Can-do, sleeves-rolled-up attitude, committed not only to solving problems but preventing them in the future.
