Work you'll do

Responsible for high-level Network & Security design, architecture, and blueprint. Leads in the strategic development and provides governance for the execution of a multi-year enterprise technology strategy roadmap. Develops strategies and directions for Network & Security solutions using current, emerging, and next gen technologies. Responsible for the integration of new solutions in the Deloitte environment including the appropriate interface capabilities.

Evaluates and pilot new products available through outside vendors. Works closely with the engineering team to transition from pilot to deployment and ensure all appropriate documents and processes are developed. Translates business requirements into Network & Security or process designs. Leads directly or indirectly advanced level employees responsible for architecture, design, and configuration, and provides the subject matter expert level support of large enterprise network infrastructure technologies.

May take on role of Project Leader for special enterprise-wide assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, recommend, design and architect Network & Security technology solutions. Approves and modifies design and architecture to ensure compliance.
  • Create and socialize the vision and roadmap.
  • Identifies and evaluates new Network and Security technology solutions with a special attention to integration and interface capabilities.
  • Evaluates and recommends new products and third-party vendor offerings to modernize Deloitte-US network and security standards. Evaluation includes financial and resources impact.
  • Produces documentation, blueprints, and training for engineering teams.
  • Provides technology expertise in the development of complex solution.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in architecture, engineering, and operations.
  • Appraise that proper solution, tooling and scripting are in place and address gaps through new solutions.
  • Take a leadership role in defining tools, techniques and technologies used to connect and secure Deloitte-US infrastructure and systems.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies for future security and network application.

Technology & Infrastructure

The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how DT - US deploys technologies and services to meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration.
  • Minimum 10 years related experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network and security design architecture.
  • Minimum 2 years with previous people leadership or project management experience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SASE, SD-WAN, Firewall, Security, Network architecture certifications or equivalent
  • Excellent architecture skills in four or more of the following:
  • Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure
  • Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
  • Automation, Programming/Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, etc.) & Orchestration
  • Network Access Management
  • Network Security
  • Data Center Network Technologies
  • Experience in:
  • Multi-vendor equipment including Cisco and Palo Alto and related OS configurations,
  • Architecting Palo Alto Firewalls, SASE, SD-WAN and Global Protect VPN solution,
  • Architecting Cisco routing, switching and WiFi.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple efforts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks features including App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, Decryption, and AI-Ops
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development in advanced network security technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to develop comprehensive security strategies and resolve complex network security issues.
  • Take a leadership role in defining AI, tools, techniques, and technologies used to connect and secure Deloitte-US infrastructure and systems.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,600 - $255,900
