ROLE SUMMARY
The Sales Training and Development Program Manager is responsible for Sales Skills training program development and delivery for customer facing roles and other supporting functional teams. The role designs and delivers the content and training that supports the commercial organization's strategy, values, and goals, providing teams with the necessary tools, skills, knowledge and information required to achieve brand, customer and experience-based goals. The role ensures successful delivery and continuous improvement of sales skill programs such as Value-based Selling, Customer Experience, Strategic Selling, Strategic Customer Engagement, Negotiation Skills, etc.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop curriculum and content for sales skills training programs to meet organizational development needs within specified timescales and resources; oversee the development of content to support high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Conduct engaging sales skills training programs, both virtually and in-person, helping sales team acquire skills or behavioral competencies necessary to be successful.
- Build tools and / or tools training to support and train sales teams to articulate the customer needs in the customer's business language and business context and orient the seller's organization around delivering to the key needs of their customers.
- Familiarize with and act as an expert salesforce training and effectiveness, acquiring newest best practice and industry development, shares it with the team, and leverages insights to shape and drive salesforce development.
- Utilize learning technology and manage training courses using Pfizer endorsed platforms such as Microsoft Teams, PLA Platform, and Questionmark.
- Oversee multi-modal learning resources, including print, eLearning modules, leader-led workshops, presentations, coaching, and sustainability programs related to sales skills training.
- Collaborate with other members of the Customer Engagement Training team to ensure timely and relevant creation, delivery and continuous improvement of training content and outcomes, leveraging the integrated training model to ensure high impact, customer centric content that supports CFC best in class results, ensuring the uniform delivery of learning across roles and topics
- Collaborate with the Integrated Learning and Development team and other relevant stakeholders to determine suitable content for implementation in alignment with platform
- Work with Sales Training and Development Program Team Lead to develop best practices and materials for Global Customer Engagement Training Team to leverage for salesforce development.
- Train peers, brand teams and vendors on the selling model, ensuring consistency in approach and integration into workshop discussions and role-play.
- Utilize key metrics for sales effectiveness to enhance brand outcomes and customer loyalty, enduring continuous improvement where necessary to achieve best in class performance and results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of experience in sales, training or related experience
- Previous experience leading people and matrixed organizations within commercial (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc.)
- BU Sales and Product experience
- Experience delivering training as a field faculty member or similar capacity
- Ability to align knowledge with business priorities and execute strategies accordingly
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Strong record of coaching teams to achieve personal and organizational goals
- Project Management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
- People leadership experience, direct or cross-functional, including developing people to meet goals, providing constructive feedback, and employee motivation.
- Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, develop new and better ways of working
- Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction
- A track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
- Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse perspectives.
- Ability to understand the business environment and objectives and develop solutions accordingly

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $131,200.00 to $218,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
