Job Description:
The Role
As a Principal Software Engineer within the Fitness Tracker team, you will be contributing to the development of a tool that enables the measurement and display of the engineering health of components, applications and products.. You will be expected to have full stack experience, with particular knowledge of web interfaces and familiar with multiple programming languages and data engineering practices.

The Expertise You Have
- Computer Science or Software Engineering degree preferred.
- 8+ years of engineering/development experience.
- Experienced tool builder
- Experience with multiple programming languages, in particular JavaScript /Typescript, Java and Python.
- Knowledge of modern UI frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Cloud Native Engineering, DevSecOps and (AWS OR AZURE) Cloud implementation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with current engineering tools and data engineering approaches.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
