Intermediate Architectural Designer

Position Summary:

The Design Associate plays a key role in the architectural design process, contributing creative ideas and technical expertise to projects under the guidance of senior staff members. This position involves working collaboratively with project teams to develop design concepts, produce drawings, and assist in project coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture.
  • Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs.
  • Performs analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
  • Will develop design solutions in the best interest of RCG brand(s) and primary market users.
  • Attends all coordination meetings manages all notes and disbursement of meeting minutes to relevant parties, per the direction of the Sr. PM.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Registered Architect preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience on campus style developments (multiple buildings)
  • Experience with theme park, hospitality, Retail / Dining / Entertainment (RDE) projects
  • Experience with the following programs:
    • Revit
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
    • Rhino
    • Creative Suite (INDD, PS)
    • MS Office (word, excel, power point)
  • Strong presentation skills (graphic, verbal, and written)
  • Ability to travel (required)
