However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement:
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions across various formats, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, videos, and job aids. You'll work closely with stakeholders to analyze training needs, identify learning objectives, and create content that enhances knowledge retention and skill development. Your expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and technology tools will drive the success of our learning initiatives.

You Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to assess learning needs and performance gaps and Conduct thorough analyses to determine learning objectives, target audience, and content requirements
- Design engaging and learner-centric training materials that align with business goals.
- Create instructional materials, including storyboards, scripts, assessments, and interactive activities and develop e-learning modules using authoring tools (Articulate Storyline).
- Write clear and concise content that facilitates understanding and application of concepts.
- Incorporate visuals, animations, and simulations to enhance learning experiences and ensure accessibility and usability of digital content.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with learning objectives and conduct usability testing to validate the effectiveness of learning materials.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in instructional design, curriculum development, or e-learning content creation.
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate 360).
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
