Job Description

As the Health System Executive, Biomarkers for the Southeast US, you will have the opportunity to work for Thermo Fisher Scientific, a world-class company with an unparalleled commercial reach and a global footprint.

In this role, you will be part of the Biomarker Integration Team, supporting strategies to help hospitals experience optimal patient and financial outcomes. Your work will have a direct impact on the clinical value and health economic impact of PCT-aided antibiotic decision-making for the management of sepsis and lower respiratory tract infections.

A day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with License Partners and Corporate Accounts to coordinate all activities associated with target accounts
  • Build relationships with Executive Leadership, Laboratory Leadership and Clinical Leads
  • Develop and perform client-specific health economic modeling

Keys to Success:

To be successful, you will need:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in business (or healthcare related field) or equivalent experience - required

Experience:

  • 5+ years successful experience in healthcare, or medical diagnostic sales at the Key/Corporate Accounts level required.
  • Special consideration given to those with experience in Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy, Critical Care, and/or Hospital Medicine.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • A detailed understanding of the complexities of healthcare delivery systems, healthcare economics, CMS directives, and provider/payer economics.
  • Proven track record to work optimally and in a matrix environment with multiple customers.
  • Outstanding listening skills, a genuine focus on customers, and validated ability to engage and influence customers at the executive level.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position requires you to reside in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeastern US within an hour of a major airport.
