Fraud Tech Analytics Manager- ( Remote Home-Based Worker)

Job Description
The Enterprise Model Risk Manager will provide oversight and facilitate the governance over the strategy of Allstate Enterprise Model Risk Management (EMRM). This role is responsible and accountable for leading the enterprise model risk strategy and programs through the advancement of its various tracks. The role includes executing and directing various teams to perform enterprise model risk assessments/health checks, identify areas that require model risk management (including deployments of AI and Generative AI models), revise and formalize enterprise model risk management policy and supporting standards, as well as advancing automation of model risk management into the enterprise model deployment platform.

The role requires heavy coordination cross-functionally across areas of responsibilities. The leader will be responsible to manage sub-teams, and work laterally with modelers and technologists. The individual will report to the Director of Enterprise Model Risk Management, and will have meaningful interactions with leaders across the company.

This role is on the FRRM team supporting a central enterprise fraud governance and escalation function. This team has accountability for providing:
Enterprise fraud loss analysis and formal reporting of opportunities
Central coordination point and communication protocol for incidents of high impact and cross-functional(i.e., incidents that are not necessarily isolated to certain business units, with no clear ownership)
Enterprise view/inventory of fraud fighting agents and fraud control inventory that drive targeted fraud risk assessments and control solutioning progress across enterprise
Event-driven fraud prevention/detection engines, sitting atop fraud data mart / repository available to enterprise fraud fighting partners

Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for creating, leading, and managing the control program's fraud technical analytics strategy
The team's de-facto fraud technical analysis lead and provides fraud technical consultation, translating fraud technical concepts to risk and return implications/capabilities to drive alignment and decision making
Enables fraud technical data and tooling work, identifying data, tools, and coding languages that can bring efficiencies or needed techniques to solve fraud problems and improve effectiveness of fraud risk and return decisions through the use of data and analytics
Leads control remediation efforts and reporting/analyses support for the fraud consultants, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach combining technical expertise with analytics and comprehensive business experience
Provides thought leadership in leading fraud investigations and technical analysis of fraud incidents that are cross-functional and impactful across multiple areas and stakeholders; leads the development and execution of fraud incident response and analysis to detect, alert, contain, and document fraud incidents and root cause analyses
Leads the development and advancement of key fraud strategies for the enterprise, overseeing the build of the fraud data mart and driving outcomes for high value fraud scenario analysis
Leverages technical fraud expertise (quantitative, qualitative, and fraud trend data) to draw conclusions, with a primary objective of preventing and detecting fraud across Allstate and the Family of Companies
Identifies gaps in current systems, policies, and strategies and recommends enhancements and process improvements based on assessment of fraud systems and processes. Risk assesses the effectiveness of fraud controls in place
Anticipates potential issues/roadblocks and develops preventative measures through partnership with business, technology, and risk areas
Adapts communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal/external levels, developing key storyline messaging and articulating a clear point of view, taking into account the perspective of all

This role has supervisory duties:
Teaches and develops the fraud consultants team on their fraud technical skills acumen
Provides direction, career guidance, and day to day mentorship for direct reports
Sets expectations and oversees day-to-day operations for the Fraud Tech Analytics team
Independently determines approach to managing projects/teams
Selects, leads, counsels, and motivates the Fraud Tech Analytics team, assisting in the recruitment, selection, and development of the technical team
Develops talent and manages performance reviews and issues
Fosters team environment and builds cross functional partnerships

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 187,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
