Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing all field sales activities within a specific territory. This requires face to face contact with every account in a designated territory on a timely basis, as well as initiatives to build sales in existing customers with a heavy emphasis on obtaining new customers.
Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop and manage a specific territory with increasing market share as a primary objective.
- Respond in a timely fashion to customer concerns, executing follow up actions to ensure customer issues / opportunities are communicated to appropriate HSD departments.
- Plan, organize and implement effective strategies using all company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share.
- Attend all dental conventions / seminars and participate in all training programs as instructed by Regional Manager.
- Maintain communication with Regional Manager on a timely basis and participate in all sales meetings as requested.
- Maintain accountability for adherence to company and divisional organization policies and procedures.
- Work in a professional and harmonious manner and cooperate with all HSD personnel in the execution of company programs.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and constant focus on continuing education programs to enhance sales performance.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Physical Activities: This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. Also works in all areas of designated territory traveling from office to office via personal vehicle. Some travel required.
Qualifications:
Experience:
At least 2 years of prior sales-related experience required.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Desired skills include: sales knowledge, attention to detail and project management skills
Other:
Valid driver's license required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
The posted salary for this position is $60,000 which is the expected starting base salary for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
