Atlassian is hiring a Manager within the FP&A organization. In this role, you will be part of the Corporate FP&A team and serve as an advisor to our business leaders on financial performance and provide insight into key levers of our business, with a focus on headcount and stock-based compensation. This role will report to the Head of M&A and Corporate Reporting.

What you'll do:
- Own financial deliverables related to equity grants and stock-based compensation expense for month-end close, forecasting, planning and reviews
- Collaborate across the company to provide insight on headcount and compensation by creating compelling narratives grounded in data
- Build and design improvements to a variety of financial models to help inform business trajectory and support strategic decision-making
- Support M&A transactions on an opportunistic basis
On Your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 6+ years of financial / analytical role in tech or Big 4 accounting firms. Experience in SaaS and FP&A (particularly in headcount and stock-based compensation) preferred
- Strong analytic / critical thinking, business partnership, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills
- Hands-on and strong financial modeling skills in Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statements
- Ability to draw upon insights and tell a compelling story involving business metrics to help influence key decisions
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA and/or CFA is a plus
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $135,300 - $180,400
Zone B: $121,700 - $162,300
Zone C: $112,300 - $149,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
