Position Compensation Range:
$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
• Communicate with business divisions to explain and clarify policies.
• Provide advice to business divisions concerning company communications.
• Prepare articles for internal publication outlining risk management issues.
• Provides risk management all staff and management. Includes delivering presentations in-person at meetings and seminars.

• Conduct a comprehensive technical and procedural investigation into the merits of claims. Includes conducting interviews in-person of agent and witnesses.
• Investigate charges of unfair employment practices made against company staff.
• Provide direction and guidance to branch and/or district claims office to coordinate the investigation of an E & O claim with the investigation of the claimant's underlying claim.
• Consult with company personnel in evaluating and determining possible exposure.
• Provide direction and guidance to staff concerning risk management.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated claims expertise in Casualty, Property, Commercial, Health or Life.
• Demonstrated investigative, analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
• Demonstrates persuasiveness and tact in dealing with people at all levels.
• Requires an understanding of general claims procedures.
• Working knowledge of insurance legal principles including tort and civil liability.

In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home, proximate to one of our office locations (within approximately 35-50 miles). On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
